International Business Forum “Khatlon Invest-2025” Held in Tajikistan
The international business forum “Khatlon Invest-2025” took place in Bokhtar, Republic of Tajikistan, bringing together representatives of international financial institutions and businesses from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Iran, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, China, Turkey, as well as local and foreign entrepreneurs.
The forum’s agenda included panel discussions on investment opportunities for the region’s sustainable development, digitalization and partnerships with the private sector, as well as the development of value chains in agriculture, import, and processing of agricultural products in the Khatlon region.
During the event, representatives of the Kazakhstan Export Credit Agency’s office in Tajikistan held a series of meetings with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Khatlon region and members of the local business community to discuss potential joint projects and the promotion of Kazakhstan-made products in the region.
Following the results of the forum, new cooperation agreements were signed in the fields of agro-industry, local product processing, and infrastructure development. The forum became an important milestone in strengthening business and economic ties and in attracting direct foreign investment to the Khatlon region. The event also featured an exhibition of goods and services by local producers.
