Kazakh oilfield service companies are ready to cooperate with Tatarstan
The Regional Director of JSC "Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan" (ECA) in the Republic of Tatarstan, Renat Kaliyev, took part in the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum in Kazan. This is one of the largest international events in Russia’s oil and gas industry, bringing together more than 200 exhibitors. Among them were manufacturers and suppliers of oil and gas equipment, oil and gas production and processing enterprises, as well as geological exploration companies. The forum was also attended by delegations from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, China, the UAE, Belarus, and other countries.
Renat Kaliyev noted the high interest of forum participants in strengthening cooperation with Kazakhstan. He emphasized that there is significant potential for expanding partnerships, particularly in the export of Kazakhstani oilfield services.
“Today’s forum is an excellent opportunity for Kazakhstan to showcase our expertise and discuss specific projects. We see considerable potential for expanding the export of our oilfield services to the market of Tatarstan and Russia as a whole. Kazakhstani companies specializing in engineering, construction and installation works, and expertise possess extensive experience and are ready to offer competitive and high-quality solutions for Tatarstan’s oil and gas sector,” said R. Kaliyev.
He also added that such events contribute to strengthening business ties and creating new joint projects at both regional and international levels. This fully aligns with Kazakhstan’s strategy to increase the export of services, which has already shown significant growth over the past year.
At the conclusion of the forum, Renat Kaliyev held a number of business meetings with representatives of the industrial and business community. The purpose of these meetings was to establish contacts to discuss potential export operations that could be carried out under ECA insurance coverage.
