ECA Organizes Chess Tournament Among Baiterek Holding Group of Companies
The Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan (ECA) held its traditional chess tournament among employees of “Baiterek” National Managing Holding JSC and its subsidiary organizations.
In his welcoming speech, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Aibol Balkin, emphasized that ECA is consistently working to strengthen corporate culture and promote intellectual games among employees.
“We are very pleased to bring all our colleagues together! For several years now, the Export Credit Agency has been organizing events aimed at developing intellectual abilities. Given the close relationship between the subsidiaries of the Holding, such gatherings are especially valuable — they help foster a unified corporate spirit and strengthen team interaction,” said Mr. Balkin.
Around 25 participants took part in the tournament, with international grandmaster Petr Kostenko serving as the chief referee.
The winner of the tournament was Bekzhan Zhakipbekov, a first-category specialist from the Zhambyl regional branch of Otbasy Bank JSC. Second place went to Yerkanat Musabayev, a first-category specialist and universal manager from the Loan Servicing and Post-Credit Services Department of Otbasy Bank JSC, Central Branch in Astana. Third place was awarded to Nikita Sergeyevich An, Chief Manager of the Risk Management Department at Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC.
The winner and prize-winners received commemorative gifts.
