The "Nakhodka" Retail Chain Expands Its Assortment of Kazakhstani Food Products

"Nakhodka," one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is expanding its range of Kazakhstani products. With the support of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan (ECA), contracts have already been signed in 2024 with two leading Kazakhstani confectionery producers — JSC "Bayan Sulu" and LLP "Saule Confectionery Factory." The total value of the contracts amounted to 260.7 million tenge.

In addition to confectionery, "Nakhodka" plans to broaden its selection of Kazakhstani food products to include flour, pasta, tea, juices, meat delicacies, and other widely consumed food items. The "Nakhodka" retail network includes more than 400 stores across the Volga Region, the Trans-Urals, and the Ural area.

Advantages of Cooperation for Kazakhstani Exporters:

  • Guaranteed sales volumes: “Nakhodka” offers stable supplies and long-term cooperation.

  • Convenient payment terms: ECA provides export financing and the option to use letter of credit payment methods.

  • Support and assistance: ECA experts offer comprehensive support at all stages of the export transaction.

“Today, we observe a concrete interest in Kazakhstani products within the ‘Nakhodka’ retail network, which collaborates directly with federal and local manufacturers. We are actively working to expand trade ties between our countries and are ready to provide comprehensive support to Kazakhstani exporters. In particular, confectionery products are already being exported. During this time, limits have been agreed upon with Russian banks to enable the use of export financing through ECA, which will allow the implementation of letter of credit payment methods in settlements with Kazakhstani suppliers,” noted Renat Kaliev, Regional Director of ECA in Tatarstan.

It is worth recalling that in 2018, the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan opened an office in Kazan to promote mutual trade and provide insurance support to exporters ready to explore new markets.
