Leadership of EAEU export credit agencies convene in Yerevan
On May 17, the leadership of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan participated in the annual meeting of export credit agencies from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in Yerevan, Armenia.
Regular business meetings facilitate the exchange of experiences and discussion of cooperation plans in insurance among the EAEU's export credit agencies. The previous meeting was held in August last year in Astana at the KazakhExport headquarters.
The Yerevan meeting also saw the participation of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company (ERC), a supranational organization established by the EAEU states to enhance mutual trade and investment. The ERC's primary role is to provide reinsurance support to EAEU export credit agencies and insurance organizations involved in supporting exports.
Currently, the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan and the ERC are exchanging information to develop optimal reinsurance formats. Following this, relevant agreements will be signed to bolster support for Kazakh exports to the EAEU countries.
