Employees of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan supported International Car-Free Day.
The Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan JSC held an annual corporate campaign to mark International Car-Free Day. This initiative, implemented by the company since 2022, aims to promote sustainable development principles, enhance environmental awareness, and reduce its carbon footprint.
As part of the campaign, Agency employees stopped using personal and company vehicles, opting instead for walking, public transportation (including LRT), bicycles, and electric scooters. In the office building, the team supported the initiative by replacing elevators with stairways, which not only reduces energy consumption but also promotes physical activity.
Reducing vehicle use is one of the key measures to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the anthropogenic impact on the urban environment. The systematic implementation of such practices demonstrates the integration of ESG principles into the organization's daily operations.
