ECA confirms compliance with the international environmental standard ISO 14001
JSC “Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan” (the Agency) has successfully completed the certification of its environmental management system. The Agency has obtained a certificate of compliance with the international standard ST RK ISO 14001-2016 (ISO 14001:2015) “Environmental Management Systems. Requirements and Guidelines for Use.”
Obtaining this certificate is direct evidence that the Agency organizes its operational activities in accordance with the best international practices in environmental protection and sustainable development. For the Agency, this is an important component of its ESG agenda.
The implementation of the environmental management system provides a number of key advantages and opportunities, including effective control and management of environmental aspects, rational use of resources, reduction of negative environmental impact, as well as strengthening the corporate culture of environmental responsibility among employees.
The Agency emphasized that this step is not merely a matter of meeting the standard.
