Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan is expanding its educational support for entrepreneurs
"Kazakhstan Export Credit Agency" (ECA) held a series of educational seminars for entrepreneurs in all regions of the country. This initiative was implemented in partnership with the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund, QazTrade, QazIndustry, Qazpatent National Institute of Intellectual Property, Kazakhstan Institute for Standardization and Metrology, and the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
The seminars were conducted online via the Zoom platform, reaching entrepreneurs in 17 regional centers and the cities of national significance: Almaty, Shymkent, and Astana. Participants received detailed information on current government support measures for businesses, including export contract insurance and guarantees, financing tools, and services for non-commodity exports.
Thanks to the interactive format, entrepreneurs not only gained new knowledge but also discussed specific cases and challenges they face when entering the export market with experts.
"We see a growing need among businesses for information on government support measures. Our goal is to provide entrepreneurs not only with theory but also with practical tools and answers to their questions. These seminars help bridge the gap between businesses and government agencies, and digital technologies make this process as convenient and accessible as possible," the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan stated.
In addition to the main program, several other events were held, including an offline seminar for members of the KIT Association with partner companies, a presentation by ECA business coach Sharbanu Baigoshkarova at a training session for exporters organized by QazTrade, and the participation of Abay Kalkayev, Director of the ECA Representative Office in Almaty, in an Export Academy seminar for members of the Kazakhstan Exporters Association.
The Kazakhstan Export Credit Agency continues to actively develop its educational and informational support for businesses, providing entrepreneurs with practical knowledge and access to government support tools. Special attention is being paid to digitalization and artificial intelligence to simplify interaction with clients. Thanks to the development of digital services, it is now easier for exporters to access the agency's services. They can submit applications through their personal account on the official ECA website or the bgov.kz portal and track the application status in real-time. It's worth noting that any Kazakhstani enterprise in the non-commodity sector can use the services of the ECA.
