"Rakhat" Expands into New Markets with the Support of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan
One of Kazakhstan’s largest confectionery companies – Rakhat – has held a leading position in international markets for many years, reports 24KZ. The company’s candies, chocolate, and other high-quality products are in high demand both in the CIS and far beyond. This success has been made possible through cooperation with the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan.
Rakhat’s chocolates and candies are loved not only in Kazakhstan but also across the CIS and in international markets. The company’s flagship product – the legendary Kazakhstan chocolate – needs no introduction and has long become a symbol of national quality. Today, Rakhat exports its products to 10 countries, including the United States, and continues to actively expand its international presence. Supporting this growth is the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan, which enables Rakhat to offer deferred payment terms to foreign partners, with the Agency covering the associated risks by setting and approving credit limits for secure transactions.
Kamil Mirrakhimov, Director of Export Development at LOTTÉ Rakhat JSC, stated:
– “All major export clients work through KazakhExport. This year, we signed a larger-scale agreement with KazakhExport. It supports not only our growth, but also the development of our partners.”
The company Rakhat now plans to expand its geography by entering the promising Chinese market. The Export Credit Agency assists exporters in entering new markets through insurance, guarantee, and financial support measures at all stages of the export cycle, as well as facilitating the establishment of business contacts with foreign partners. Currently, the Agency’s portfolio includes more than 20 support instruments.
Almas Kalkaev, Director of the Almaty Branch of JSC "Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan":
– The Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan has been working with JSC "Rakhat" since 2014. To date, we have insured ten of the company’s foreign counterparties. The company can count on our preferential financing based on the total amount of approved limits.
By the way, the volume of support provided to Kazakh exporters by the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan reached a record high last year — 337.4 billion tenge, with the total economic effect amounting to 2.5 trillion tenge.
