ECA Provides Support to Domestic Manufacturers

One of the largest manufacturers of construction materials in Kazakhstan, Alina Group, is strengthening its position on the international stage, reports «24KZ». The company’s products, known for their high quality, are increasingly in demand across the CIS countries. This growth is largely supported by cooperation with the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan, which helps Alina Group expand the geography of its deliveries.

Today, Alina Group is a leader in the production of construction materials and paint and coatings in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The company holds a 60% market share and ranks among the top seven strongest national manufacturers, employing around 3,000 people.

Daniyar Bayadilov, Director of the Alina Group Plant / Almaty:

— I want to say that our company places great emphasis on product quality, as we offer a warranty of up to 10 years on our products. There is no such warranty from other manufacturers in the dry construction mixes market. I would also like to note that the AlinEX brand is practically well-known throughout Kazakhstan.

Support for the development of the export sector is provided by the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan. The Agency helps exporters enter new markets, offers consulting and logistics services, and facilitates the establishment of business contacts with foreign partners. Currently, the Agency’s portfolio includes more than 20 support instruments.

Almas Kalkaev, Director of the Almaty Branch of JSC "Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan":

- Our main priority is supporting enterprises that produce high value-added products. The company has been cooperating with us since 2016. We have insured risks for markets in Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

By the way, the volume of support provided to Kazakh exporters by the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan reached a record high last year — 337.4 billion tenge, with a total economic effect amounting to 1.8 trillion tenge.
