In today’s special edition by the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan, we introduce you to Allabergen Elaman, a senior operator at the Shin-Line factory. He has dedicated over five years to this profession and in our report, he shares detailed insights about his work—from the morning shift to preparing products for export shipments.
LLP “Shin-Line,” the leader in the ice cream market of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, has been a long-standing client of the ECA. Founded in 2002, the company produces over 160 varieties of ice cream and frozen products. Its products are present in 10 export markets. “Shin-Line” cooperates with global leaders such as Mars, Froneri, and Barry Callebaut.
In 2024, the company invested 35 billion tenge in constructing a new factory in the Almaty region with a production capacity of up to 350 tons of ice cream per day. The 37-hectare complex will be the largest in the CIS and Eastern Europe. It will include an ice cream factory, frozen semi-finished products and dairy production facilities, as well as robotic warehouses and laboratories.
Recall that the ECA launched this special project to enhance the prestige of skilled trades, improve workforce training quality, and expand cooperation with supported enterprises. Within this framework, we highlight working professionals and their interesting careers, thereby promoting vocational education development and labor market systematization to stimulate skilled specialists.
