**Freedom Bank Tajikistan and the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan have become strategic partners.**

The parties plan to jointly develop export crediting mechanisms and risk insurance for the bank’s clients.

Freedom Bank Tajikistan and the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of strategic partnership.

According to a press release from Freedom Bank Tajikistan, the document provides for the possibility of a strategic partnership in the field of insurance and trade financing for the bank's clients in transactions related to the export of goods and services from Kazakhstan to Tajikistan.

As part of the cooperation, the parties plan to jointly develop export credit mechanisms and risk insurance for the bank’s clients. This will make it possible to expand the range of financial services and support foreign economic activity between the two countries. During the event, Freedom Bank Tajikistan presented its capabilities in delivering financial services.

A subsidiary of Freedom Bank Kazakhstan is expected to open in Tajikistan in the spring of this year.
“Cooperation with the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan is a strategically important direction for our bank. It will become one of the key drivers of growth and will allow us to expand the range of services we offer. Freedom Bank Tajikistan is already technically ready for launch. We offer account opening and maintenance, deposits, cash operations, payments and transfers. In the near future, we plan to launch a digital mortgage,” said Dauren Nisinbayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Freedom Bank Tajikistan.

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan” Sergey Kuklin expressed confidence in the successful development of the partnership:

“The Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan is confident that Freedom Bank Tajikistan will achieve significant success in the cashless payments market of Tajikistan, as we ourselves actively support digitalization. In particular, we have recently launched the ‘Single Exporter Window’ online platform, which allows exporters to submit digital applications, agree on contract terms, and track application status online. Now, all applications for insurance, guarantees, and other services can be submitted online from any region of Kazakhstan.”

The signing of the memorandum will open new opportunities for businesses and the bank’s clients, strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, the bank noted.

CJSC Freedom Bank Tajikistan received its license to conduct banking activities in October 2024. It is a subsidiary of JSC Freedom Bank Kazakhstan, which was the first in Kazakhstan to launch innovative financial products such as digital mortgages, digital car loans, digital documents, corporate banking, and more.
