Export and Credit Agency of Kazakhstan explores best practices of Turk Eximbank
Delegation of Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan JSC (ECA) visited one of the leading export credit agencies of the world - Turk Eximbank - to exchange experience.
During the visit, joint meeting and seminars, the parties discussed various aspects of export support, including:
- Automation of business processes
- Compliance procedures during transactions
- Risk management procedures for export transactions
- International Counterguarantees
- Export Credit Guarantees: Types, Interaction and Issuance
- Financing of a foreign buyer
- Financing of projects with sovereign guarantees
- Short-term and long-term export credits
- Insurance Claims and Indemnity
The representatives of Turk Eximbank shared with the ECA delegation the support mechanisms for exporters, including investment insurance and export transaction guarantees.
The parties emphasized the importance of the event for further cooperation and collaboration between ECA, improvement of the insurance support system and development of trade and economic relations between the countries.
In conclusion of the event, the participants discussed international cooperation on priority areas and introduction of new support tools.
It is worth mentioning that the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan is the National Institute promoting and developing non-resource exports. As a part of its key activities, the Agency grants exporting enterprises of the manufacturing sector and second-tier banks insurance protection against the risk of non-payment in foreign trade transactions and guarantees security at all stages of the export cycle.
