Akmola region: unlocking new export opportunities
Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan (ECA) participated in a seminar for the Akmola Region's business community, focusing on government support measures and prospects for enhancing investment activity in the region.
Expanding horizons for exporters
Adil Mukhanov, Deputy Director of ECA's Insurance and Guarantee Department, presented the agency's extensive range of services, emphasizing a new product: export transaction guarantees. This innovative tool helps Kazakhstani companies minimize risks as they venture into international markets.
“ECA provides comprehensive solutions for exporters at every stage of foreign economic activity,” Mukhanov stated. “We continuously expand our financing programs to deliver maximum support to our clients. To date, the agency has facilitated over 330 billion tenge in financing, generating an overall economic impact of 1.7 trillion tenge.”
Exploring local industry potential
During his visit to the Akmola Region, Adil Mukhanov toured key manufacturing enterprises, including Kazrost Engineering Plant and GorMolZavod LLP. These visits enabled him to evaluate their export potential and identify opportunities for tailored support.
Engaging dialogue with entrepreneurs
The seminar provided a platform for open communication between government representatives and the business community. Entrepreneurs shared their questions and concerns, fostering a collaborative discussion on pressing issues. All suggestions will be carefully reviewed to design new measures that enhance support for exporters.
