Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan employees join Car-Free Day campaign
Employees of Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan took part in the national Taza Kazakhstan environmental initiative by participating in the Car-Free Day campaign. They chose eco-friendly alternatives like walking, biking, and using scooters for their commute to work.
The campaign seeks to lower air pollution by promoting greener travel options, ultimately reducing harmful emissions.
Through their participation, the agency’s employees encouraged people to give up their cars and use public transportation, cycle, or walk for a day.
"The rising number of vehicles in our cities has led to an increase in harmful emissions. The Car-Free Day initiative highlights this issue and promotes the shift to environmentally friendly transportation. We invite all residents to take part and support this cause," said Nadira Abenova, Sustainable Development Manager.
World Car-Free Day, with the motto “The city as a place for people, a place for living,” has been celebrated globally since 1998.
