Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan attends Berne Union Summit for insurance claims and compensation experts
Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan participated in a thematic meeting on claims and compensation issues held in Shenzhen, China. The event was organized by the China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (SINOSURE) and the International Union of Credit and Investment Insurers (Berne Union).
The meeting served as a platform for Berne Union members to exchange experiences and discuss current issues in claims resolution, claims procedures, and anti-fraud measures.
During the session, participants reviewed statistical data on insurance payments and compensations from recent years and examined forecasts for key trends in export credit and investment insurance for 2024, considering the impact of geopolitical events.
The event's program included thematic round tables addressing the geopolitical issues of regional conflicts and their effects on international trade, as well as international practices and measures for resolving disputes and managing claims and litigation.
Additionally, Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan engaged in discussions with representatives from various export credit agencies and international banks, aiming to develop and strengthen partnerships in claims resolution, including handling the agency's current insurance cases.
